Hi, there! I'm Manoj.

I hail from Kurnool, India. I have spent my past few years in Jaipur where I pursued a Bachelor's degree from Amity University and spent a couple of years in Pune, where I worked as a Software Engineer.

I believe that the insight required to solve our pressing problems is around us, in the form of an abundance of data. I'm invigorated by the challenge of taming data to answer questions, which is why I spend my hours uncovering insight from pools of data. I'm also an advocate of lifelong learning, and like being on the bleeding edge of technology.

I currently live in San Francisco, pursuing my Masters in Data Science from the University of the pacific. In my master's program, I learn to use statistics and machine learning along with the essential business skills to solve customers' problems and incorporate predictive models for long-term success in today’s organizations. Being a jack of all trades, sometimes I also build front-end applications, dashboards and visualisations to help our customers interact with our data products. You do need good storytelling for good data. ;)

In the past I’ve worked as a Software Engineer in Tech Mahindra based in Pune, India. I have implemented many Automation works like uptime alerts, space alerts for CIO department. I also have little teaching experience at an NGO in India where we teach basic Maths and science to underprivileged children in rural India.

So yeah, I have my fair share of corporate experience, and the usual get work done attitude that comes with it.

I’m also really into hiking, blogging, travelling, and meditation. I cycle between other hobbies as well, with the change of seasons.
